Yamaha WR description

2016 wr250r with 222 miles not even broke in yet. I have added warp 9 supermoto wheels with michelin pilot sport tires, 48t rear sprocket, renthal r1 gold chain, wr250x kickstand, drc fender eliminator, drc led signals, 12oclock labs running light fix, 12oclock labs speedodrd fix, turn signal led hyper flash fix, led headlight, custom mirror, and msz adjustable levers. This bike looks amazing in person and so much fun to ride but now I need to sell. Purchased new in May. Due to rareness of the bike I had to pay full msrp which is 6700$ plus dealer fees and taxes and I have over 2k in aftermarket parts. I also have all the factory parts and will include the motorcycle stand. My credit union holds the title.  I get compliments and questions every time I take it out. Can text for more pics 304-550-3551

Kenny Roberts Motorcycle Collection Up For Sale

Wed, 25 Apr 2012

Motorcycling legend Kenny Roberts has commissioned RMD Motors to auction off some rare and exclusive motorcycles from his collection, presumably to make room for more. The Japan-based company is known the world over for its collection of rare and classic motorcycles for sale, many of which are retired grand prix machines fortunate enough to escape the fate of most decommissioned racebikes: the crusher.  Headlining the Roberts collection is the 2004 Proton KRV5 originally ridden by Kurtis Roberts, King Kenny’s youngest son. The five-cylinder grand prix machine never achieved much success on the world stage, but will easily make you the center of attention at your local trackday.

2014 Yamaha MT-09 Three-Cylinder Street Bike Announced for Europe – to be Named FZ-09 in US

Tue, 11 Jun 2013

A couple of weeks ago, Yamaha Europe released a video called “Dark Side of Japan” teasing a new street bike it claimed would “change the sport motorcycle world.” Today, the company revealed its new model, introducing a new naked sportbike powered by a “Crossplane” three-cylinder engine called the MT-09. (EDIT: and we can now reveal that the North American version will be known as the Yamaha FZ-09.) The 2014 Yamaha MT-09 is powered by a new 847cc three-cylinder engine first teased at Intermot last year. According to Yamaha, the MT-09′s engine produces 113.4 hp at 10,000 rpm and 64.5 ft-lb.

MotoGP to Re-Visit Rookie Rule

Tue, 19 Jun 2012

MotoGP organizers are re-opening discussion for the series’ rookie rule which prevents new riders from entering the series with factory teams. Introduced following the 2009 MotoGP season, the rule was designed to give satellite teams the chance to field young up-and-coming talents  they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to sign. The theory was the rule would protect the satellite teams and spread out the talent pool.
