Hi, due to unforeseen circumstances im selling my beloved 2009 yamaha wr250 r. i have had it for a little over a year now. I am the 3rd owner. the 1st was a retired fireman and the 2nd was a police officer. I purchased it with 1400mis, and it now has 4200 mis on it. I mainly have driven short distances back and forth to school. never taken it off road, but i can only imagine how it would handle. it handles like a dream on the street. top speed is probably around 95. has fmf pipe and exhaust system. also the tail lamps and the turn signals have been changed. I still have all the original parts that will be included in the sale. Overall it is in good condition. Recall for 2011 Yamaha FJR1300
Mon, 11 Jul 2011Yamaha is initiating a recall campaign the 2011 FJR1300, just a week after a separate recall for the 2006-2009 versions of the sport touring motorcycle. Like the earlier campaign, the recall for the 2011 Yamaha FJR1300 is for an electrical issue, this time for the brake lights. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, brake light on affected units may not illuminate when the front brake lever is applied because the activating mechanism in the brake switch can bind.
