1994 Yamaha Virago 1100 XV1100, 9900 miles, runs and rides, PA inspected, NEW battery, tires, front brakes and rebuilt front brake calipers. Has hard saddle bags, windscreen, driving lamps, tool bag, leather tank cover and rear carry rack. Bike has typical wear and tear from age and use, some rust spots on chrome(cleans up with some effort), scuffs, scratches and small dent(see it pic) in tank near seat(not very noticeable with tank cover in place). Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces 2013 Induction Class
Wed, 27 Feb 2013The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame announced it will induct five new members for 2013. The Hall also announced it will add one new member to its Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame. For 2013, the Hall will welcome to its ranks motorcycle attorney Russ Brown, custom chopper builder Rick Fairless (pictured above), Harley-Davidson dealer Bill Gikling, actor Marjoe Gortner of the television special “Sturgis: The Great Ride”, and antique motorcycle expert Lonnie Isam, Sr.
2014 Yamaha YZ450F and YZ250F Recalled
Wed, 26 Feb 2014Yamaha is recalling 2014 YZ450F and YZ250F off-ride motorcycles because of a risk of the drive chain detaching. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recall affects 1,300 units in the U.S. while Transport Canada says another 115 units are affected north of the border.
