The exhaust sounds fantastic. Great deep big v twin rumble. Engine runs smooth. The bike needs clutch work. When on the center stand the wheel spins as it should in all gears, but when the clutch lever is pulled in, the wheel continues to spin as if the clutch lever was still out. The lever pull itself is very light. This will need to be addressed before it can be ridden. It will also need some wiring work as the blinkers do not work (headlight and taillight work) and an overall cleaning up. The chrome is dusty in the photos but shines great when clean. I do not have the time or space to dedicate to it so it is being sold with NO RESERVE as is as a PROJECT exactly how you see it. With a good going over and some minor work this could be a very cool bike. I will not sell for lower than the opening bid. If it doesn't sell I will find a place to keep it, fix it and list again in the spring. Colin Edwards Joins Forward Racing CRT Squad for 2012
Fri, 02 Sep 2011Colin Edwards will join the Forward Racing team to compete in the 2012 MotoGP season as a Claiming Rule Team entry. Edwards, known as a good development rider and an even better quote machine, is the first rider to officially sign on with a CRT. Forward Racing may be more familiar to some race fans by its former name, Hayate Racing, the outfit that ran the Kawasaki ZX-RR with Marco Melandri in 2009 after Kawasaki pulled out of MotoGP racing.
Yamaha Announces MT-10 And MT-10 SP For 2022
Mon, 22 Nov 2021This news should come as a surprise to nobody, but it’s still equally as exciting to finally get the official confirmation: Yamaha is bringing an updated MT-10 to the US. Maybe more exciting is the announcement that Yamaha is also bringing an MT-10 SP here as well. We reported earlier this month that a new MT-10 was coming, but at the time, the report was only confirmed for Europe.
BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates
Tue, 03 Jan 2012In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
