1987 Yamaha XV1100 Virago

This vintage 1987 Yamaha is an excellent cruiser.  Shaft drive.  Included are a lot of extras with this bike.  2 extra tires (usd), original exhaust, bike cover, extra oil filters, oil, gear grease, choice of 2 of the helmets in picture, and various other extras.  Bike has always been garage kept.  Averages approx. 45 mpg.  13,788 original miles (receipts to proves mileage).  
Extras on the bike: high rise windshield, luggage rack, driving lights, highway bars, new saddle bags (old ones go with it too), Jardine exhaust (sounds awesome).

Title must be transferred at time of purchase, at buyers expense (PA laws).  

Bike is a classic and runs great !

Yamaha Reports Q2 2011 Results

A drop in net sales, an appreciating yen and the fallout from the March 11 earthquake and tsunamis in Japan contributed to a 4.6% drop in profit for Yamaha Motor Co. over the second quarter of 2011. Over the quarter ended June 30, 2011, Yamaha saw a 5.9% drop in net sales compared to the same period in 2010.Yamaha reports sales of 344.5 billion yen (US$4.48 billion) over the second quarter, compared to the 366.3 billion yen (US$4.77 billion) reported in the same quarter in 2010.

James Toseland Announces Retirement from Racing

Two-time World Superbike Champion James Toseland announced his immediate retirement from motorcycle racing due to a debilitating injury to his right wrist. Signed with the BMW Motor Italia racing team, Toseland has been limited to just seven of 20 races in this season’s WSBK Championship due to the wrist injury initially suffered during a private test at Spain’s Aragon circuit in March. After undergoing an operation for the injury, Toseland made two attempts at returning to racing, first at the Miller Motorsports Park round in May and again at the Silverstone round in July.
