nice 1990 Yamaha Venture Royale. Extremely powerful and extremely comfortable. The seat and ride are more comfortable and nimble than my Goldwing.
This is a clean bike and as far as I know everything works. Electronic cruise control, on board air adjustable front and rear suspension, radar detector. Has a newer AGM battery and the battery light came on when I put the new battery in. Some kind of sensor that works with the old style batteries. No charging problems. Bike runs through all gears nicely, no second gear issues at all. I get 42-46 mpg no matter how I ride. Is due for an oil change and some clean up from storage. It is an older bike and there are some cracks in the front plastic, the bags are nice. Comes with a full cover. Please email any questions before bidding. Payment is due within 48 hours of auction close. I will meet a shipper if that is what you choose, you pay for shipping. I can also drive the bike to the Milwaukee airport and you can drive it home. 2022 Yamaha XSR900 Review - First Ride
Wed, 25 May 2022The sportiest Sport Heritage Credit: Photos by Adam Campbell | Videos by Sean Matic Some of us were a bit surprised when Yamaha’s newly overhauled 2021 MT-09 snagged first place in last summer’s 900cc(ish) Naked Bike Comparison, against such more-expensive heavy hitters as the new Ducati Monster and KTM Duke 890. And all of us were a little surprised when the XSR900 defeated Indian FTRs 1200 and 1200S, and the now-defunct Monster 1200S, in an only slightly unfair 2019 comparo. (Slightly unfair because our test route was really nothing but tight, twisty roads.) Now, the 2022 XSR900 is newly overhauled just as last year’s MT-09 was, using all the same parts from the waist down, including the new super-sized 890 cc version of that most excellent CP3 three-cylinder and all its electronic controls.

The event’s sponsor, Monster Energy, has released a video offering a behind-the-scenes look at the event. The seven-time F1 champion was joined by TT racer John McGuinness, retired MotoGP racer Randy Momola, Moto2 racer Pol Espargaro and Keith Flint, a musician from the group Prodigy and a racer in the U.K.’s Hottrax Endurance Championship.
Yamaha to Produce PES1 and PED1 Electric Motorcycles by 2016
Mon, 21 Apr 2014Yamaha announced plans to release the production versions of its PES1 and PED1 concept models within two years as part of the company’s plans to enter the electric motorcycle segment. The PES1 and PED1 (which stands for “Passion, Electric, Street” and “Passion, Electric, Dirt”) concepts were first revealed at last November’s Tokyo Motor Show. In the company’s newly-published annual report, Yamaha confirmed plans to produce the two models, saying: “In sports motorcycles, we are working to create new value with EV sports motorcycles, which we aim to launch in two years, with the development of the small, on-road sports PES1, as well as the PED1, which are being developed to expand the scope of electric vehicles to the off-road world.
