Fall Clearance - Unloading some excess inventory below wholesale value.

This low mileage 650 Vstar is in quite nice shape. This bike runs, and drives great. It starts easily, runs smooth & quiet, shifts, stops, and handles properly. All lights, switches, and controls are working.

The front fender is scuffed and twisted, and there are on the right side of the bike from a minor tip over accident. The handlebar could be very slightly bent also.

This bike was not repaired, or restored in any way. This is the condition it came to us in, after an insurance company took possession of it, after the accident.

Pick up this bike cheap at its low end of season price!

A $500. NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction, and is to be paid by PayPal. If you are unable to pay the deposit by PayPal, you MUST overnight a US Postal Money Order or Certified Cashier's Check. Please email us the tracking number.
The full balance must be received within 7 days of the auction's end in the form of US Postal Money Orders, a Certified Cashier's Check, Bank Wire or cash. Cash is only accepted in person.
PayPal is only accepted for the the deposit, and can not be used for the balance.

NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!

Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.

OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes

KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.

Schwantz leads the group of six racers, past and present, selected by helmet-maker Arai to take part in the parade lap of the Isle of Man’s Mountain Course. Schwantz has visited the Isle of Man before, but this will mark his first closed lap of the circuit.
