A crater looking for a grid reference?

Tue, 28 Sep 2010

THIS IS the 'Black Devil' - the latest traffic jam-busting, kamikaze two-wheel nutcase who seems to have little respect for not only his own life but eveyone else on the road, too. The rider in question has filmed himself tearing up Moscow's roads in a suicidal fashion, diving between lines of traffic in a bid to impress viewers of his hi-speed antics aboard a Yamaha R1. Tue, 20 Jul 2010

RANDY de Puniet may well have just been ejected from his LCR Honda RC212V MotoGP racer during qualifying for Sunday's Sachsenring GP but that ain't gonna stop him from bringing one of the company perks with him to Dr Costa's on-circuit surgery. The Frenchman crashed during qualifying after hitting oil and water spilled on track by Jorge Lorenzo's Fiat Yamaha, after it spewed its guts along almost the entire length of the start finished straight. Following the crash De Puniet was whisked away on a stretcher with a suspected broken foot.

Argentina was actually supposed to join the MotoGP tour this season, but the round was scrapped because of a dispute between the country and Spain after the Argentine government seized control of a Repsol subsidiary. Repsol is, of course, a prominent sponsor of several teams including Honda‘s factory team.
