Here is another great example of an awesome, super clean, very, very well maintained metric cruiser traded in on a Can Am three wheeled Spyder! This gentleman is an excellent rider, who simply didn't feel as though he could ride on two wheels safely for too much longer. He especially didn't feel as though he wanted to have a passenger along on an upcoming 3000 mile trip! So, he and a buddy both traded in their bikes.
As for the bike, it is beautiful. It has been meticulously maintained, is nearly spotless, and has absolutely no cosmetic or mechanical issues to speak of. It is a buy and ride it bike. End of story. The oil was just changed, the brakes are very good, the tires measure out at 4/32 front and 8/32 rear which is practically new. The windscreen and very functional rear bags make it a great distance tourer, and the nimble feel makes it a fun local commuter. That's it. Serious bidders only, bid to win. Wayne Rainey Visits Yamaha Racing HQ
Thu, 08 Sep 2011Racing legend and three-time 500cc Grand Prix Champion Wayne Rainey paid a visit to Yamaha Motor Racing’s headquarters just outside of Milan, Italy. The 1990-1992 World Champion met with employees of Yamaha Racing, Yamaha Motor Italy and Yamaha Motor RD Europe and officially opened a new boardroom named in his honor. Rainey, along with current Yamaha factory MotoGP racers Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies, took time to take photographs and sign autographs with the Yamaha staff.
2014 Yamaha Crosser 150 BlueFlex Announced for Brazil
Mon, 10 Feb 2014Yamaha revealed a new ethanol-powered dual-sport for the Brazilian market called the XTZ150S Crosser BlueFlex. Designed specifically for Brazil, the Crosser 150 is Yamaha’s latest ethanol fuel model, sharing the same engine as the Fazer 150 BlueFlex. The engine is a 149cc single-cylinder engine with the second-generation version of Yamaha’s BlueFlex system, allowing it to run on gasoline or ethanol.
Brammo Electric Motorcycles Eligible to Race Against Gas-Powered Bikes in AFM
Tue, 05 Mar 2013Electric Brammo motorcycles will share the grid with gas-powered motorcycles in American Federation of Motorcyclists competitions. The AFM, America’s oldest motorcycle road racing body, announced Brammo riders can compete head-to-head for championships against those riding internal combustion engine motorcycles. The Brammo Empulse R, Empulse TTX and Empulse RR will be eligible for competition.
