Yamaha V Star description

2011 Yamaha V Star 950, 2011 Yamaha V Star 950 (VXS950AC) - LONG AND LOW, THE WAY TO GO The V Star 950 features the longest wheelbase in its class for that stretched look and incredible straight-line cruisability, along with an ultra-low seat height of just 26.5 inches. A fuel injected, air-cooled V-twin working eight valves via roller rockers provides plenty of thumping torque and power for real open road cruising. A fat tire out back and a final belt drive get the power to the ground and look good doing it. 3-Day "no Questions Asked" Money Back Guarantee on all Certified used motorcycles purchased! Kenny Roberts Motorcycle Collection Up For Sale

Wed, 25 Apr 2012

Motorcycling legend Kenny Roberts has commissioned RMD Motors to auction off some rare and exclusive motorcycles from his collection, presumably to make room for more. The Japan-based company is known the world over for its collection of rare and classic motorcycles for sale, many of which are retired grand prix machines fortunate enough to escape the fate of most decommissioned racebikes: the crusher.  Headlining the Roberts collection is the 2004 Proton KRV5 originally ridden by Kurtis Roberts, King Kenny’s youngest son. The five-cylinder grand prix machine never achieved much success on the world stage, but will easily make you the center of attention at your local trackday.

Intermot 2012: 2013 Yamaha FZ8 Announced

Tue, 02 Oct 2012

Along with the announcement of the updated 2013 FJR1300A, Yamaha also announced that its naked middleweight roadster, the FZ8, has received a handful of updates for 2013. Key among the modest improvements is revised EFI programming for smoother, snappier throttle response, and front suspension is now full adjustability. The fork has new preload and rebound adjustments atop the fork legs, while a new compression damping adjuster is located at the bottom of the fork.
