Up for sale is my starter motorcycle. It is a 2010 Yamaha XVS950.Pearl White with lots of accessories. I bought it to get back into the sport and now its time to move to a bigger bike. Bike comes with a Batwing Fairing with an 8in windshield. Has a Cobra slip on cat-back muffler. It has a Mustang Day tripper seat,Xenon headlight ,saddlebags, Lindy multibar engine guard,led license plate frame,2 usb ports at the windshield. Has  a Garmin Nuvi GPS with Bluetooth. Removeable sissy bar, new rear tire(300 miles or so), and recent oil change. Just a really nice bike but I need something bigger. My loss is your gain. Adult ridden and very well cared for. There is no shipping on this bike unless you set it up and pay for it. I am located in Memphis Tn.

The Pursuit of Yamaha-ness – A Message from Yamaha’s CEO

Yamaha must “pursue true Yamaha-ness and break out of our old norms” if it hopes to increase profitability, says Hiroyuki Yanagi, the company’s president and chief executive officer. In an open letter released by Yamaha, Yanagi discussed what his company needed to do in order to reach its goal of producing 12 million units this year and collecting 2 trillion yen (US$22.5 billion) in sales. Yanagi’s message offered little in specific details but provided a glimpse of Yamaha’s overall strategy for the next few years.

MSF Begins Year-long Real World Motorcycle Safety Study

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation has started what it calls the first-ever naturalistic study of motorcycling, with 100 motorcycles equipped with data logging equipment to record real-world riding situations over the course of a year. A nasty tumble in at the Brands Hatch opener lead to four DNFs, but once back on track he pushed the dominant BMWs hard, finishing on the podium eight times. While many were trading their grannies to fund new S1000RRs, Richards kept the faith and rode the wheels off his Padgett’s Honda Fireblade.
