Yamaha V Star description

2009 Yamaha V Star 650, What a great gift for Christmas (and we take Visa/MasterCard/Etc too!)......2009 Yamaha 650 V Star Classic in excellent condition. Bike has Vance and Hines Cruzer exhaust that gives the bike a great sound and tons of power. This bike will get up and go and has the power to run with all the bigger bikes but weighs less so it's easier to handle. You'll be amazed at the feedback from people when they see and hear this bike. They love it! They also think it's a larger CC bike. The bike has a windshield and windshield bag (great storage for sunglasses, registration etc), a new rear rack and backrest plus OEM passenger floor boards. And did I mention the chrome?? Lots of it...and it looks great! The rear tire as well as the battery is pretty new. The bike's been babied and I only run Mobil 1 synthetic motorcycle oil in it. It's a Yamaha so it always starts. It has just over 13k miles. I've never had a problem with it and did I mention...I get 51mpg! $4,000.00

Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?

Thu, 05 May 2011

Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.
