Stoner to Miss Brno for Surgery – Title Defence Likely Over

Thu, 23 Aug 2012

Casey Stoner has withdrawn from the Brno, Czech Republic MotoGP round to undergo surgery on his injured ankle. The Repsol Honda rider injured his ankle in a high side crash in last weekend’s Indianapolis Grand Prix.

I had three cracking years on this special machine battling against team mates Whitham, Walker and Hislop and breaking most lap records along the way. The hard charging Bayliss, Reynolds and Rymer were also thrown into the mix on occasions just to make life even more interesting.
