Yamaha V Star description

2008 Yamaha V Star 1100 Custom, 2008 Yamaha V Star 1100 Custom (XVC11XB) - GETTING DOWN TO EARTH...WAY DOWN. Yes, this long, low custom really is that long and low...in fact, this full-size cruiser has the lowest seat height in the entire Star Motorcycles line. stripped-down to the bare beautiful essentials and powered by a modern SOHC V-twin the 2008 Yamaha V-Star 1100 Custom goes as good as it looks. The timeless Yamaha V-Star 1100 Custom comes chrome-plated, tear-drop tanked and with the piston-pounding appeal of other V-twin cruisers, but for a bunch less money. The styling and attention to detail is only surpassed by the performance and reliability. With a long, low, lean-and-mean profile, traditional spoked wheels, and a bobbed tail rear fender, the V-Star 1100 Custom has the look and feel of a classic chopper. 3-Day "no Questions Asked" Money Back Guarantee on all Certified used motorcycles purchased! Ducati also confirmed it would field Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone next season, so unless Lorenzo wanted to spend a season or two developing Suzuki‘s or Aprilia‘s new prototypes, Lorenzo’s only option for a factory ride was to re-sign with Yamaha.

The red and white design was created to celebrate Yamaha‘s 50th year in Grand Prix racing. Yamaha factory racers Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies debuted the livery at the Assen round in June, which saw the American Spies nab his first a career MotoGP win.
