Donington Park and the Roman rebel.
Thu, 31 Mar 2011We know the sun always shines on the righteous and that’s exactly what happened last weekend at Donington Park. Yes its good honest people back in charge of the Derbyshire circuit so we saw summer sunshine for Friday’s free practice and also for WSB race two on Sunday. Yamaha Champions Riding School Garage Sale This Weekend
Tue, 03 Dec 2013As a former student, and later instructor, at the Yamaha Champions Riding School, it pained me to learn that the program has ceased operation. However, the school’s loss could be your gain, as Miller Motorsports Park will be holding a garage sale this weekend to move many of the assets from the school — yes, that includes motorcycles. The sale will be held this Saturday, December 7, in Team Garage 1004 at Miller Motorsports Park.
Yamaha Recalls R1 and Super Tenere for Overheating Headlights
Mon, 24 Feb 2014Yamaha has started a recall campaign on 2009-2013 YZF-R1 sportbikes and 2012-2013 Super Ténéré models because of a risk of headlight failure due to overheating. The recall campaign affects 19,045 units of the R1 and 4,683 units of the Super Ténéré in the U.S. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, heat generated by the headlight bulb socket may cause the terminal ends to expand, resulting in arcing between the terminal connector and bulb contact.
