Up for auction is my 2007 Yamaha Vstar 650 Silverado. Miles are a little over 13,000. New professional paint job last fall. Carbs just rebuilt and the bike completely serviced. New battery last fall. Comes with all the yamaha accessories shown. I have owned it for about 3 yrs. now and due to other projects I want to sell this motorcycle. (please check out my youtube video on the Yamaha). The tires are 75%. Nice ,great running, well balanced motorcycle. Great acceleration and is fun to drive. All the gauges, lights, electrical items work as intended. I have the Bike for sale locally so it may sell early. If you have 0 or poor feedback email before bidding. A deposit of $500.00 is due within 48hrs and balance to be paid by cashiers check or money order no later than 7 days after auctions end. It is a used vehicle sold as is with no warranty. Catalina Island (California) Grand Prix Slated for 2010 Return [video]
Wed, 26 May 2010The Catalina Grand Prix was last run in 1958 on Santa Catalina Island, an island community situated approximately 22 miles south-southwest of greater Los Angeles. Efforts by the AMA, AMA District 37, Big6 (a smaller collection of clubs within the D-37 region) and promotional company My Cuz Vinnie Promotions LLC, have secured December 3-5, 2010 as dates for the event, with a 100-mile professional race held on the 5th. In 2008 vintage motorcycles were displayed on Crescent Ave.
Kenny Roberts and Jay Leno to Auction Yamaha 50th Anniversary R1
Wed, 20 Jul 2011A special one-off Yamaha R1 that “King” Kenny Roberts will ride at Laguna Seca at this year’s U.S. Grand Prix will be auctioned off to benefit an arts school in New York. The GYTR-equipped R1 with Yamaha’s 50th anniversary red and white paint scheme will be sold at Mecum’s Motorcycle Auction, Aug.
2014 AMA Supercross – Toronto Results
Mon, 24 Mar 2014James Stewart captured his series-leading fourth AMA Supercross 450 class win of the season, giving him sole possession of second place on the overall career wins list ahead of Ricky Carmichael and behind Jeremy McGrath. The win also helped Stewart gain some ground on points leader Ryan Villopoto who suffered from a bout of food poisoning. Villopoto was examined at a Toronto hospital and released in time for the opening ceremonies.
