2003 Yamaha V Star Custom Cruiser on 2040-motos
Yamaha V Star tech info
Yamaha V Star description
2003 Yamaha V Star Custom, READY TO GO - Lean and mean and low-slung is the name of the game here, with boulevard bad boy styling and a price tag that will make one wonder why they waited so long to take one home. Comes with a pavement-skimming, 25.6-inch seat height and long, 64-inch wheelbase. And 40 cubic inches of genuine V-twin muscle, tuned just right to pump out serious torque from idle on up through a low-maintenance shaft drive. Then, of course, theres the look: bobtail rear fender hidden, hardtail-like rear suspension drag-style handlebars and beefy forks.

Yamaha Confirms Leaning Multi-Wheeler for 2014 – Will the Tesseract Concept Finally Become Reality?
Wed, 03 Jul 2013Yamaha confirmed it plans to introduce a new Leaning Multi-Wheeler (LMW) vehicle for 2014. An accompanying image of a test unit in camouflage reveals two closely-aligned front wheels beneath a broad fairing. The new model will be a three-wheeler similar to Piaggio‘s MP3 scooter instead of the four wheels like the Tesseract concept (pictured further below) first introduced at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.
The short but sweet life of the Yamaha R7
Tue, 17 Jan 2012I was reunited with an old friend recently, my 1999 Virgin Yamaha R7 Superbike. By the end of 1998 I had won three straight BSB titles with the Yamaha YZF750, when main sponsor Cadbury’s pulled out leaving zero funds for a title defence. Wanting desperately to ride the new R7 and thinking a replacement backer would instantly get on board I turned down quite a few offers including a juicy contract from Crescent Suzuki (Paul Denning always enjoys reminding me).
2012 Yamaha YZF-R1 Video Featuring Ben Spies
Mon, 26 Sep 2011Yamaha has released a new video of the 2012 YZF-R1 featuring MotoGP racer Ben Spies taking the new bike with Yamaha’s 50th Anniversary limited edition livery to a track day. Spies who won the 2009 World Superbike Championship on a Yamaha R1 so he is obviously very familiar with the sportbike which will now be available with a seven-level traction control system. Spies appears a little bored as the other riders learn the layout of the track and when they get to the track, he calmly waits while they take off around him before dropping the hammer and showing them how it’s done.
