2002 Yamaha V Star 1100 Custom , Asking 5000 obo and have title in hand. Bike runs great. Last summer me and a buddy rode to Pittsburgh, pa from fayetteville, nc. About a 10 hr ride. Recently changed oil and gear oil. Has custom fenders, turn signals, exhaust, and rims, custom seat. Has fatty metzler tires with white walls ant flat black paint job. Also has rear seat with sissy bar. I'll include a jacket and a helmet or two if they fit, along with a bike cover and trickle charger. Yamaha Reports Q3 2012 Results
Tue, 06 Nov 2012Yamaha‘s North American sales were up over the first nine months of 2012, representing the lone bright spot in the company’s third quarter report. North American consumers purchased 51,000 Yamaha motorcycles (including scooters and ATVs), for a 13.3% increase from the 45,000 units sold in the opening nine months of 2011. North American sales translated into 30.7 million yen (US$382 million) in revenue for Yamaha, a 15.0% increase from the first three quarters of 2011.
Recall for 2011 Yamaha FJR1300
Mon, 11 Jul 2011Yamaha is initiating a recall campaign the 2011 FJR1300, just a week after a separate recall for the 2006-2009 versions of the sport touring motorcycle. Like the earlier campaign, the recall for the 2011 Yamaha FJR1300 is for an electrical issue, this time for the brake lights. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, brake light on affected units may not illuminate when the front brake lever is applied because the activating mechanism in the brake switch can bind.
