Yamaha V Star description

Very nice VStar 1100. Excellent mechanical condition no leaks or seeps, doesn't use any oil, no engine noise or ticking. Starts right up with new battery. Super clean, lots of chrome in perfect condition. No rust, pitting, or corrosion. Mufflers and wheels are excellent. Only blemish is a smooth dent on the side of the gas tank as pictured. Bike has aftermarket Jesse James custom heavy gauge steel fenders, pair of ape hangers, removable pillion, and rear rack. Maintenance for this riding season includes brand new set of tires, oil change, brakes bled, air filter, and battery. I didn't ride near as much as anticipated, so there's only been a few hundred miles since. Stored in heated garage. This bike needs nothing and is ready to ride home. Personal delivery available at reasonable cost to cover expenses or I can help with shipping or loading.

Wed, 10 Sep 2014

This just in from the Yamaha Champions Riding School: the Champ is back! As many of you know, Scott fell off a dirtbike and tumbled around long enough to hurt himself back in July. But he just called and drawled, “I’ll be back for the school as soon as I’m able to ride…let’s fill it up and have some fun!”  With the final round of the AMA SuperBike series coming to New Jersey Motorsports Park this weekend, it’s a perfect time for Mr.

Day 1 Dakar 2014: Barreda Draws First Blood

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

Team HRC’s Joan Barreda on the Honda CRF450 Rally, got off to a storming start in day one of the 2014 Dakar rally, clocking up the fastest time of all the 175 riders at the first time-check. The former Husqvarna rider who moved to Honda in the middle of the season inaugurated his 2014 Dakar with an acrobatic performance. The motorcycle competition was expected to be wide open, and that is indeed what the classification shows after the opening stage. It was a very early start for the Rally Dakar. The pack of riders headed off at four in the morning on a long 251 miles that took them towards the vibrant city of Rosario for the start of the 112 mile special.

The triple tuning fork brand has made a great gift to all 2-stroke enduro enthusiasts with the introduction of the WR250 2T to the European market, based on the recently launched YZ250X in the US. According to the creators, the new motorcycle has an explosive, cross-country character. This was achieved thanks to the development of a new YPVS power valve, a new cylinder and block head.
