Yamaha V Max description

Up for auction is a low mileage, nice 2002 Yamaha V-max.    I bought the bike from a salvage-yard approximately 3 years ago and rebuilt it.  The bike was laid down on its right side.  No motor or frame damage occurred during this accident.  The radiator, water pump, right side pegs, mirror and handle bar were replaced (see attached photographs).  The tip of the end of the  exhaust has a small area of abrasion approximately 1" in size (see pictures).   An authorized Yamaha Dealer inspected, tested and tuned the bike before I started riding it.  I also put a low profile custom seat and a super brace on the front fork.  I have ridden the bike lightly over the past 2 1/2 years. It is too strong a bike for me to feel comfortable riding.  Note that this is a very strong running motorcycle and I recommend that only experienced riders bid on it.   I have priced this bike to sell.  Please text me and I will be happy to provide additional details.  This is a chance for someone to own a great super-cruiser bike for a relatively low price.  I encourage potential buyers to consider a visit to look at the bike.  Please ask questions to avoid any misunderstandings.  Thank you for looking.

Ben Spies announced his retirement from motorcycle racing, as injuries cut short a once promising career for the American. Yamaha Tenere 700 Raid Prototype First Look

Tue, 23 Nov 2021

Return to sender Well the seat was a little high, at 34.6 inches, but that didn’t stop the Yamaha Ténéré 700 from doing very well in last summer’s blockbuster middleweight ADV comparison. Keeping it simple and keeping the weight down was a great recipe for success, and now Yamaha is fixin’ to take it to the next level with a Ténéré 700 Raid, for which this machine it showed at EICMA serves as prototype. Valentino Rossi Test Drives Kyle Busch’s NASCAR Toyota Camry

Tue, 23 Apr 2013

The morning after riding his Yamaha M1 to a sixth-place finish at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, nine-time Grand Prix World Champion Valentino Rossi landed in Charlotte, N.C., to race around another track; only this time there were no right turns. (UPDATED with additional photos.) Rossi met up with NASCAR racer and fellow Monster Energy-sponsored athlete Kyle Busch to ride Busch’s Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Busch, winner of the last three Nationwide Series races, gave Rossi a walkaround of his car before taking the Yamaha factory rider around a few laps of the Charlotte  Motor Speedway 1.5-mile oval.
