Listed for Highest Bid is a Beautiful 2004 Yamaha VMax Sportbike with less than 2400 miles. The Vmax is well known as a performance bike for experienced riders. This bike has been in my personal collection for about 6 years and has always been garage kept in a climate controlled environment. This bike is in excellent condition. It's 1200 cc V4 / 5speed/ Shaft Drive powertrain Runs and Drives flawlessly. It's a very smooth FAST ride. The bike is completely stock with the exception of the header exhaust system , a carb jet kit, a SpitFire windshield and Passenger backrest. Tires are original on this bike and it has been serviced on a regular basis. A new Yuasa battery was recently installed. Despite the low mileage on this bike it has been ridden on a regular basis to keep all the seals lubricated and the carbs clean. This bike starts and idles perfectly and has Zero hesitation when you twist the throttle. Only reason I am selling this beauty is that I am getting older and find I ride the Cruiser bikes much more than this superbike. I do have a Reserve price set but it is lower than you might think. The crouched riding position and murderous amounts of power may not be ideally suited for the London grind, but with plenty of track action planned I have to make some compromises. Tue, 18 Feb 2014If there’s one constant when it comes to World Supersport racing, it’s that Kenan Sofuoglu will be at or near the front at all times. The former champ has a special ability when it comes to lapping middleweight sportbikes as quickly as possible, and it showed again at the conclusion of World Supersport testing at Phillip Island. Sofuoglu’s best time of 1:33.506 was set during the first day of testing, but still nobody was able to beat it.
MotoGP to Hold Official Test in Argentina; South American Nation Returning to Calendar for 2014
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Dorna Sports announced there will be a MotoGP test at Argentina’s Circuito Internacional Termas de Rio Hondo in July to allow teams to prepare for the track’s expected addition to the 2014 MotoGP calendar. Argentina was actually supposed to join the MotoGP tour this season, but the round was scrapped because of a dispute between the country and Spain after the Argentine government seized control of a Repsol subsidiary. Repsol is, of course, a prominent sponsor of several teams including Honda‘s factory team.
