Nothing makes learning more fun that a 2012 Yamaha TT-R50E. Chalk it up to the push button starter, monocross rear suspension and three-speed automatic clutch transmission and more. Our littlest Yamaha TT-R boasts big Yamaha YZ styling, four-stroke power, a three-speed automatic clutch gearbox - even push-button electric starting. Go ahead, play in the dirt. For the younger, smaller off-road fanatic in your family, look no further than the user-friendly TT-R50E. The 49cc four-stroke engine feeds power through a three-speed semi-automatic transmission, great for learning and playing. It's got the style of a big YZ, but low enough for the little guys to climb aboard with a seat that's only 555mm (21.9 ) above the ground. Once they're going, you'll be glad to know, the TT-R50E is equipped with front and rear drum brakes to deliver strong, dependable stopping power. Like all Yamaha's, TT-R's are packed full of leading-edge engineering and stand up to our stringent standards for reliability. They're built to last. The only thing we can't do is stop your little ones from out growing them! But we've got their next Yamaha waiting when that happens.

Rumor: Yamaha Developing Inline Three Roadster

Wed, 25 Jan 2012

French motorcycle outlet Moto Revue reports Yamaha is developing a new three-cylinder middleweight. Citing an internal Yamaha document, Moto Revue reports the new naked model will feature an inline Triple engine, aluminum perimeter frame, upside-down fork and a triple-pipe exhaust like the MV Agusta F3 and Brutale 675. Yamaha has produced a Triple before, offering the XS750 from 1976-1979 before replacing it with the XS850 in 1980 and 1981 (pictured above is the 1981 Yamaha XS850.) The potential new model is still likely to be years away, so its look is yet to be determined, though Moto Revue does have a rendering that borrows some of the design elements from the FZ8.
