Engine: Super-reliable, electric-start air-cooled 223cc SOHC four-stroke puts out a smooth, widespread of power perfectly suited for all kinds of trails and riders. Smooth-shifting, YZ-type six-speed transmission with heavy-duty clutch geared for maximum versatility and usable power delivery. CDI magneto ignition system is ultra reliable and nearly maintenance-free. YZ-type air filter for easy maintenance and maximum airflow. Lightweight exhaust with muffler and quiet, USFS-approved spark arrestor. Automatic cam chain tensioner means minimal maintenance and longer engine life. Lorenzo, Spies Call Test a Success Despite Crashes

Yamaha riders Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies each crashed but both riders deemed the third and final day of MotoGP testing in Malaysia a success. Lorenzo and Spies both crashed during the morning of the test but were unhurt. Despite the minor setback, both riders managed to get a lot done at the Sepang International Circuit.

Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces 2013 Induction Class

The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame announced it will induct five new members for 2013. The Hall also announced it will add one new member to its Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame. For 2013, the Hall will welcome to its ranks motorcycle attorney Russ Brown, custom chopper builder Rick Fairless (pictured above), Harley-Davidson dealer Bill Gikling, actor Marjoe Gortner of the television special “Sturgis: The Great Ride”, and antique motorcycle expert Lonnie Isam, Sr.
