1978 Yamaha Tt on 2040-motos
Yamaha TT tech info

Yamaha TT description
Up for auction is a
very nice and UNrestored original 1978 Yamaha TT500. Not perfect, but really close. The VINs on the engine
and front steering stem MATCH. The only things that
are not original are the rear tire, rear foot pegs and hand grips. This bike is in
extremely good condition and is a very low houred machine. It starts, runs and rides as good as the day
it was sold new. Best of all it hasn’t been altered. It has new Yamaha air
filter, oil filter and Yamalube 4 stroke engine oil. It is ready to ride! This bike is an
absolute joy to ride with its abundant low end torque and soft seat. Best of all is the low seat height. It is also a great show
piece for your garage or mancave. NOTE: This bike has never had
a title. It wasn't required on off-road bikes.
The bike will be sold with a notarized bill of sale only (again, no
title). The title section above required me to input something. ANOTHER NOTE: There is no odometer, so I do not know the actual mileage. Again the section above required me to input something. A $500 non-refundable
deposit required via Paypal within 24 hours of auction end. Balance is due within 7
days. Bank to bank wire transfers, certified
checks and cash in person accepted. Bike
will not leave until funds have cleared my bank. We can store the bike
in our garage with pre authorized arrangements. If you have questions,
or need a different picture view, please email or call Jon at 307-745-8651
between the hours of 12:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
This is a land line so no texts. No zero Ebay rating bids accepted unless prior contact is made with us and approval is given by us. These bids will be rejected. Bid with confidence. |

AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Riders Gearing Up For Road America
Thu, 29 May 2014The AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike class makes its much-anticipated return to Road America this weekend. The four-mile Wisconsin circuit is a particularly exciting place to watch the middleweight bikes because its long straights and braking zones make passing and lead changes commonplace. More than just a test of man and machine, the races often develop into a strategic battle leading up to the all-important last lap and run up the hill to the checkered flag.
AMA Sportbike: 2012 Daytona 200 Results
Tue, 20 Mar 2012The 2012 Daytona 200 delivered another fairy-tale finish with underdog privateer Joey Pascarella and the Project 1 Atlanta team fending off a pack of three other racers to win by a slim 0.048 second margin. Competing in just his first Daytona 200, 19-year-old Pascarella from Victorville, Calif., held the lead for 41 out of 57 laps to finish first ahead of a last year’s winner Jason DiSalvo while Cameron Beaubier squeezed by 2010 Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas in a photo-finish to take third. For the Project 1 Atlanta team, the win marked a dramatic turnaround from a let down in 2011.

Fri, 30 Aug 2013With the MotoGP world championship in Donington Park this weekend, Yamaha took the opportunity to reveal the 2014 version of its M1-inspired Race Blu liveries along with the 2014 YZF-R1, YZF-R6 and other sportbikes. Before you read any farther, here’s the bad news. First, it does not appear as though either the R1 or the R6 received any other updates for 2014.
