Up for auction is a nice Yamaha Seca 550 1981. XJ550RH
FOR SALE IN CANADA ONLY. International buyer contact me prior bidding. You'll be responsible for Import/Export process and to get all the paperwork to clear the Customs which i don't have. I'm selling it due to sickness. I just started it and it runs fine. It might just need a little carburetor adjustment but i think it's ready to ride as i rode it for about 500Km last summer and it ran ok. I own this bike since 2002. This bike is in great condition if i consider it's age. The rear tire is brand new and the front one is half good. The exhaust system is the original one. I'm a motorcycle mechanic so this bike has been well maintained. The odometer has 92668 Km and it's mainly highway use. I have a second bike for parts if your interested in. It isn't in the same great condition but there is a lot of good spare parts on it. Josh Hayes To Wear RS Taichi In 2014

Yamaha Reports Q1 2013 Results
Tue, 14 May 2013Yamaha Motor reported a 3.7% increase in net sales for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. Net sales from motorcycles increased by 4.6% despite an 8.1% decrease in unit sales. Overall, the company reported a profit of 7.5 billion yen (US$73.3 million) over the quarter, down from the 27.0 billion yen reported last year.

Mon, 28 Feb 2011As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment. I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
