2005 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe , 2005 Royal Star Tour Deluxe. Best balanced/equipped cruiser/tourer made IMHO. Instant removable windshield and sissy bar assembly w/Yam luggage rack for different looks/use. Automotive style electronic cruise control, Ultimate driver backrest, autocancel turn signals, Yamaha lightbar w/visors all signals and new Halogens, stock exhaust with slash cut RK exhaust too (louder). Very quick and comfortable w extremely durable engine (seen 200k on some). Synthetic blend oils in engine and differential (shaft drive), Waterwetter in radiator recently serviced. New brakes, clutch fluid and tires (Metzler Marathons)...wonderful handling in the twisties. Never down, stored in climate controlled garage and in showroom condition. The great care lavished on this bike will be evident on viewing/riding. 3rd one I've owned so I'm a fan and know what to look for..this one has it. Tue, 13 Oct 2009Valentino Rossi has finished on the podium eleven times in his twelve visits to Phillip Island across all three GP classes. The only race at Phillip Island that he did not finish in the top three was on his first visit riding a 125cc machine in 1997 when he finished sixth. In 1998 and 1999 he won the 250cc races and since then has had nine podiums in the premier-class including five victories, the last of which was in 2005.
