Priced below fair market value with reserve set low is a 1999 Yamaha Royal Star Venture motorcycle. Motorcycle has normal wear and tear and has been maintained over the years. I am second owner of bike and had it gone over by professional mechanic to make sure all was tight and road worthy. By mileage standards this motorcycle is 30,000 miles under average. Still alot of life left with lots of potential. Has all the bells and whistles for a big cross country road trip. Lots of cargo carrying capacities and cruise control to ride in comfort. Great entry level touring motorcycle for someone that is looking for alot of bang for their buck. As mentioned in the conditions section there are some issues with the extra lighting that was installed by previous owner who apparently was no electrician. The right person could have all those working the way they are suppose to. None of those are in any way something that does not allow bike to run down the open road. They are simply just extras. All things aside this motorcycle is in great running condition and to my knowledge it has never been wrecked or in any accident. Methods for payment are Paypal or cash upon pickup. Villopoto, Roczen Dominate AMA Supercross in Oakland
Mon, 28 Jan 2013Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto dominated the 450SX Class on Saturday night in front of a record crowd in Oakland, CA. In front of a record crowd of 46,896, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto raced to his second-consecutive AMA Supercross victory, an FIM World Championship, 450SX Class Main Event win at O.co Coliseum in Oakland, CA on Saturday night. Rockstar Energy Racing’s Davi Millsaps finished in second, and Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey followed in third.
Yamaha Champions Riding School August Update
Tue, 05 Aug 2014Our friends at the Yamaha Champions Riding School have been busy lately. Since moving to New Jersey Motorsports park in April, traffic has steadily risen, with June being sold out and July not far behind. August is very promising with some new ideas (one-day clinics to bring a more economical program to a larger group of riders) being inserted into the mix as well as a normal two-day school at the end of the month, which is already 80% full thanks to the yearly visit from the engineering department of Harley Davidson. Following August YCRS will have two schools the week directly after the AMA Pro races at NJMP.
2014 Yamaha Crosser 150 BlueFlex Announced for Brazil
Mon, 10 Feb 2014Yamaha revealed a new ethanol-powered dual-sport for the Brazilian market called the XTZ150S Crosser BlueFlex. Designed specifically for Brazil, the Crosser 150 is Yamaha’s latest ethanol fuel model, sharing the same engine as the Fazer 150 BlueFlex. The engine is a 149cc single-cylinder engine with the second-generation version of Yamaha’s BlueFlex system, allowing it to run on gasoline or ethanol.
