Yamaha Roadliner description
These headers came off a 2008 Yamaha Roadliner but will fit 2006 thru 20012 models. I replaced these with a Cobra exhaust system when the bike had less then 1,000 miles. Looks bright and shiny, no major scratches, dents or rust of any kind, certainly nothing that will show once installed. Includes the doughnut mounting brackets (not the gaskets). It was hard to take good pictures because the flash kept reflecting off the chrome but they are in really great shape. Actual shipping charges will apply. Combined weight of all three items is 17 LBS, I'm guessing the total shipping weight with the box or boxes and packing material will be more like 20-21 LBS. You may check my feedback rating and bid with confidence the item will be as good or better than described. Also, please let me know if you have any questions or need any additional information before you bid. Thanks and good luck!!

Tue, 08 Dec 2009This R1 will be auctioned in 2010 to raise money for Riders for Health. The bike was donated by Yamaha and the paintjob was designed by Aldo Drudi - the guy behind Rossi's helmet designs. See the similarity?!
EICMA 2008: First Impressions
Mon, 03 Nov 2008I have had a little walk around checking out the preparations for the show. I haven’t seen anything that I haven’t already seen or heard about previously, but here’s a selection from three of the halls. Yamaha are the only manufacturer to use an industrial crane to place some of its bikes up on high rise stands.
Rossi Makes Progress but Hayden Suffers Shoulder Setback
Wed, 01 Feb 2012Ducati continues to develop its Desmosedici GP12 MotoGP race bike, setting modest goals while trying to establish a good setup. Already trailing the other factory teams in development time for its race prototypes, Ducati continued to try to find good base settings for the GP12. Valentino Rossi achieved the team’s goal of lapping under two minutes and two seconds with a time of 2:01.886 while completing 44 laps on the second day of testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit.
