2006 Yamaha Roadliner 1900, This bike runs perfect and rides smooth. It is maroon metallic paint color. I added a Yamaha windshield (med height) and custom Cobra pipes (mid-slashdowns). The bike sounds great with those pipes. There are a set of generic soft bags on the bike as well. The rear tire has about 600 miles on it, and the front tire is basically new. Ill throw in 3 helmets and a new K&N performance air filter that I hadn't gotten around to installing. The bike has never been dropped, and has no damage. It has a couple of small dings/paint chips on the fenders. Ill try to get close up pics uploaded, these marks are very small and difficult to photograph. I have a clear title for the bike, I have never had a bit of mechanical difficulty with it, it has never failed to start except one time when i left the key on for the whole afternoon. The bike is listed below book value especially for the excellent condition it is in. I am selling it so that I can invest in hobbies that allow me to spend time with my little girls. AMA to Combine Daytona Sportbike and Supersport Classes in 2015
Wed, 04 Dec 2013AMA Pro Racing announced plans to combine its Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes into a single category by the 2015 season. The two classes currently share many similarities including engine displacement regulations, minimum weight limits and eligible machines. The Supersport class has more restrictions on modifications and are limited to a maximum top speed of 165 mph while Daytona Sportbike machines are allowed to reach speeds up to 170 mph.
BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates
Tue, 03 Jan 2012In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
