Just in time for spring... this local trade in is a 2006 Yamaha, Road Star Silverado. The bike is powered by a 1700 cc V twin carburated engine backed by a 5 speed transmission. This Yamaha is in great condition, all of the paint chrome and the tires look great. The bike has saddlebags, windshield, hwy pegs, passing lamps, light visors,custom grips,Vance and Hines pipes,custom air cleaner, Led tail light and an amp gauge. The roar of Lorenzo’s Yamaha YZR-M1 drew people’s attention as mechanics, data engineers and a lone Brolly Girl emerged.
Recall for 2006-2009 Yamaha FJR1300
Mon, 04 Jul 2011Yamaha is recalling certain 2006-2009 FJR1300 sport-tourers due to a problem with the electrical system. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the ground joint connector of the wire harness on some Yamaha FJR1300 models may overheat and become deformed. If the electrical system is not properly grounded, the motorcycle’s electric components including the ignition system may malfunction, potentially causing the engine to stall.
Yamaha Outlines 2013-2015 Business Plan
Tue, 18 Dec 2012Yamaha Motor Co. revealed what it calls its New Medium-term Management Plan, outlining its business strategies for 2013 to 2015, including the introduction of 250 new models worldwide across its various product lines including motorcycles. The three-year plan is an extension of Yamaha‘s plan for 2010-2012 which targets a “V-shaped recovery”.
