Yamaha Road Star description

NO RESERVE

Hello and thank you for looking.
I am the second owner of this bike however the first owner was a good buddy of mine and i was with him when it was in the shipping crate at the dealer. He loved Indian motorcycles but did not want to put a lot of miles on his three Indian bikes. So he made this one look like an Indian and did a super job. I bought it in 2009 and it had about 2300 miles on it this engine is giving riders over 200k miles with no problem. People all over the internet are reporting 130k 178k 210k 147k with nothing but oil and filter change . the Yamaha 1700 is most likely the best air cooled V twin ever made. The bike has way to much to list on it as extra stuff so please look at the pictures very close and ask questions before you bid. The engine has a lot of high performance parts inside and out. so happy bidding and one more thing  absolutely nothing wrong at all with this bike i would ride it around the word with no hesitation at all. snooze and you will lose out on one very nice bike...

Thank you and happy bidding

Yamaha Champions Riding School Garage Sale This Weekend

Tue, 03 Dec 2013

As a former student, and later instructor, at the Yamaha Champions Riding School, it pained me to learn that the program has ceased operation. However, the school’s loss could be your gain, as Miller Motorsports Park will be holding a garage sale this weekend to move many of the assets from the school — yes, that includes motorcycles. The sale will be held this Saturday, December 7, in Team Garage 1004 at Miller Motorsports Park.

Ienatsch, Hill, Russell, Bestwick To Give Speech At Yale Today

Thu, 30 Jan 2014

In what might be considered the most shocking news of 2014 so far, Nick Ienatsch and Ken Hill are going to Yale. While some might think the Chief and Lead instructors at the newly revamped Yamaha Champions Riding School are getting in over their heads, the two are at Yale as lead presenters for “Excellence In Motion: What Motorcycle Racing Can Teach Us About Success,” which begins at 4pm (local time) today.  When put into context, their appearance at one of the nation’s top schools is understandable. Each has had their fair share of success aboard motorcycles, and they will be joined by two more champions on two-wheels, five-time Daytona 200 winner and 1993 World Superbike Champion Scott Russell, and Jamie Bestwick, an avid motorcyclist and winner of eight consecutive X-Games BMX Vert gold medals.
