Up for auction is a 2003 Yamaha Road Star Silver Edition, # 886 of 1600. This bike is in excellent condition with a ton of after-market parts including Corbin Stinger seat, 17” Baron Kong bars, stainless steel brake and clutch cables, chrome mirrors and levers, Tri-bar headlight and Tri-bar running lights, new white-wall tires, ISO chrome floor boards, ISO passenger chrome floorboards, HD crash bar, HD front fender, Bassani exhaust with 36” fish tails, A ton of chrome Kuryakyn parts. The bike has been lowered. Meticulously maintained and garage kept. I have all of the service records. Clean TN title in hand I’m sure I left something out; just give me a call for more information . Yamaha Officially Announces Monster Energy Sponsorship
Tue, 08 Jan 2013As we reported in December, energy drink producer Monster Energy has signed a sponsorship agreement with Yamaha‘s factory MotoGP program, putting its brand on the Yamaha YZR-M1 race bikes, team clothing and equipment, as well as riders Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi. Monster Energy already had a personal sponsorship deal with Rossi but the company will now also sponsor Lorenzo. The reigning MotoGP Champion had previously had a sponsorship arrangement with rival energy drink company RockStar, but Yamaha exercised a clause in its contract with Lorenzo allowing a buy out of the RockStar deal as it conflicts with the team’s sponsor.

So much so that Yamaha has announced a unique opportunity to bid on a historic set of road racing leathers, boots, gloves, and helmet as worn by Edwards during this, his final season in MotoGP. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Feed the Children, which is Yamaha Motor Corporation’s official corporate charity.

Featuring the world’s largest-displacement air-cooled Inline-Four engine in production, the XJR1300 lives on in 2015 with a new custom-inspired look and a cafe racer variant. The 2015 XJR1300 was inspired by a custom from builder Keino called “Rhapsody in Blue” as part of Yamaha’s Yard Built program.
