This bike is very clean and in like new condition. With only 6900 miles on it. Added a batwing faring with 2 windshields the cross on the fairing is a decal so it can easily be removed to customize to your liking, hard slim saddle bags and a Bluetooth radio. Fairing and bags are in gloss black as ordered not yet painted so also can easily be painted to your liking. All adjustment and fluids changed at beginning of riding season. Asking $9,500 o.b.o.. Last Year’s Surprise Podium Finisher Katsuyuki Nakasuga to Wild Card at Japanese GP
Fri, 23 Aug 2013Katsuyuki Nakasuga, the surprise podium finisher at last year’s MotoGP finale in Valencia, will have the chance to catch lightning in a bottle once again, after being granted a wild card entry to the 2013 Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi. Nakasuga shocked the racing world with a second-place finish at the Valencian Grand Prix last November as an injury replacement for then-Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies. Nakasuga made the cagey decision to run slick tires in the wet race.
Yamaha Reports 2013 Sales Results
Wed, 12 Feb 2014Yamaha reported a 1.2% decrease in motorcycle sales in 2013 but managed to increase its net sales revenue by 16.2%, thanks in large part to the depreciation of the Japanese yen. According to the company’s 2013 fiscal report, Yamaha sold 6,014,000 motorcycles last year, down slightly from 6,090,000 sold in 2012. The good news however, is most of the sales decrease was limited to Thailand and Vietnam where the economy worsened in 2013, while Yamaha’s sales increased in nearly all other markets.
Yamaha Files Patents for Leaning Three-Wheeled Electric Scooter
Fri, 29 Aug 2014Yamaha has filed a number of patents with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office for an electric three-wheeled scooter. Unlike the Yamaha Tricity which has two wheels at the front and a third wheel at the rear, the patents are for a scooter with two rear wheels, each driven by an electric hub motor.
