Ive decided to sell my 08 Raider S. I love the bike today as much as I did the day I bought it. My kids are getting older and I find myself doing more boating and camping than riding now. The Raider is great shape. The maintence has been preformed my Yamaha Harley of Paris. The paint is in good shape and chrome has no pitting. The bike has been in North Texas its whole life. Rear tire is near new bridgestone and front is metz 880. Front tire is near replacing. Bike will come with a Yamaha star 14" and 19" shield along with the star Quick release brackets. Bike runs and sounds great with the mufflers replaced. There is a small scratch on the exhaust from the tip install and a few marks on the rear wheel. Tue, 28 Sep 2010THIS IS the 'Black Devil' - the latest traffic jam-busting, kamikaze two-wheel nutcase who seems to have little respect for not only his own life but eveyone else on the road, too. The rider in question has filmed himself tearing up Moscow's roads in a suicidal fashion, diving between lines of traffic in a bid to impress viewers of his hi-speed antics aboard a Yamaha R1. If he keeps this kind of activity up expect a report on his untimely demise sometime in the near future.
Yamaha Reveals 2013 MotoGP Livery – Video
Fri, 22 Mar 2013Yamaha officially launched its 2013 MotoGP factory team, revealing the new livery for riders Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi and their YZR-M1 prototypes. The new livery returns to a predominantly blue design with white elements compared to last year’s design which was more predominantly white. The livery also features a modern interpretation of Yamaha‘s speed block design.
Yamaha Wraps Up Sepang MotoGP Test
Thu, 02 Feb 2012Pre-season test lap times aren’t a precise barometer for how the 2012 MotoGP Championship season will go, but Yamaha has to feel good about its results after this week’s testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit. Last February at Sepang, Honda riders were the talk of the preseason session, taking three of the top four lap times on each day of the test. That pattern repeated itself in the final championship standings with Casey Stoner taking the championship, Dani Pedrosa finishing third and Andrea Dovizioso fourth.
