Attention vintage motorcycle collectors,here is a 1977 Yamaha RD400 two stroke project with 11,264 actual miles! numbers match,bike has been inside storage for twenty years,the title has been lost and there is no record of it at the dmv,I can give a bill of sale and pass along contact information to the winner of the auction of a title company that can aquire a new title for the winner of the auction,motor kicks over with good compression,key,front fender and some other small parts are missing everything I have for the bike is in the pictures,throttle doesn't twist,brakes don't work,clutch lever pulls in,tranny shifts threw the gears,the carbs might need cleaning before the bike will run,selling as is although I don't see any major repairs that the bike will need,there is some rust here and there on the bike,buyer will have to pay for shipping and locate there own shipper if one is needed I'm not sure there prices I have met with them several times usually uship.com,i can store the bike for ten days after the auction ends if your not local sorry no longer,im located in Minnesota and my zip is 55025,auction may end early because I might sell the bike before the auction ends,paypal accepted as payment if your not local,Thanks for looking and good luck bidding,Im always looking to buy old and or unwanted Motorcycles and Dirt bikes.

The Yamaha - built by the extraordinary Kel Carruthers - that Hailwood is riding in the clip featured a unique frame with the camera housed within. The voice-over recording provided by Hailwood was done by taping a small mic to the bottom of his lip so he could dictate his guide to the 37.73 mile route.
