I have for sale my fully restored 1972 Yamaha R5 for sale. This is a fairly rare motorcycle, made for three years. This is the precursor to the Yamaha RD350. This is a very unique 350cc two stroke, and is quite fun to ride.
Specifics: • Frame off rebuild • Frame repaint • All body panels/tank repainted blue (non-original, but very nice) • All original badging • All chrome fully polished including wheels • Forks/drum brakes polished as well • New battery • New foam, and seat cover with passenger strap • New tires with about 150 miles • New wheel bearings • New chain • NOS rear sprocket • Fully rebuilt carbs • Engine was disassembled and all crank seals were replaced. Internals were in great shape • New plugs • New coils from HVC cycle There may be a few specifics I'm forgetting at this point; however, this bike has been fully gone through and works great. I found this in a pile of boxes a little over a year ago, and it was my full intention to enjoy restoring this beauty, and putting it up for sale - and my fiance is making sure I stick to the original plan.
