This bike was rebuilt 1yr ago by Dangerous Davis Racing. Wiseco top & bottom end of engine. Rebuilt carb. FMF silencer ,new tires. My grandson. rode it all this summer since rebuild. GREAT running and looking bike. I have around $1200 in it and most was aftermarket parts. Needs nothing 1st $450 OBO takes it. Yamaha Developing 250cc Sportbike for India in 2014
Wed, 12 Dec 2012Yamaha has been rumored to be working on a 250cc sportbike for quite some time now. In fact, the other three members of the Japanese Big Four have launched new models in the small-displacement segment in recent years, but none of these new generation small-displacement bikes bear Yamaha‘s crossed tuning fork logo. That may change by 2014 however.

Made to the usual Harris standards the cans are created from stainless steel and titanium. The silencers have fully removable baffles helping your R1 to breathe more easily and produce a fruity exhaust note.
Josh Hayes to Test Tech 3 Yamaha M1
Tue, 04 Oct 2011Two-time AMA Superbike Champion Josh Hayes has been invited to test Colin Edwards’ Tech 3 Yamaha YZR-M1 at the MotoGP post-season test. Tech 3 principal Herve Poncharal told MCN Hayes will get to ride a few laps on the Yamaha M1 Nov. 7 at the end of season test at Spain’s Valencia circuit.
