Yamaha Other description

Hi,  My name is Robert.   Today I'm listing another bike from my Personal Museum here in West Palm Beach, FL.  It is a very nice 1980 YAMAHA IT250G.  The motorcycle was NOT ridden hard it's whole life!  It was bought new in Utah in 1980 and spent it's life their until I bought it on one of my Vintage Bike Scavenger Trips in 2006.  It was used for desert riding.

This motorcycle is in EXTRAORDINARY BEAUTIFUL SHAPE!  The Plastic is AWESOME and CORRECT NOT Aftermarket Stuff!  The two side number plates and front plate are NOS from 1980,  I dare you to find that stuff!!!  The Seat is BEAUTIFUL and Original! The Engine is BEAUTIFUL and Original and never messed with!  The Exhaust Pipe Is BEAUTIFUL and Original With NO DENTS!  The Tires are BEAUTIFUL and Original from Day One and still show about Half or more of the original tread left!  This bike was only ridden in the desert.  This motorcycle is just a impressive "Time Capsule" of a era of Enduros that KICKED BUTT!!

What I can obviously see on the motorcycle:
-The larger tool pouch behind the seat is a period correct replacement Malcolm Smith from 1980!
-The rear fender has some heat discolor marks around the light post! Very Minimal and Very Common!  It's white plastic!
-The rear fender has a license plate mounted to it from Utah for desert riding!
-The right front fork has a license sticker from Utah for desert riding!
-The two side number plates don't show the "250" on them.  I have NOS Originals to install before the bike is delivered!
-The Pictures will show all wear that was done to the motorcycle before I received it and it's Very Minimal!

The motorcycle was last ridden on the day it was delivered to me in 2006 then drained of the little fuel that I had put in it, then it was put on display in my personal collection! I have not tried to start it since then! It has been in the same spot elevated off the ground for the last 7 years, only moved for these photos!
IT IS: THE BEST UNRESTORED SURVIVING EXAMPLE I HAVE EVER SEEN for a Yamaha IT250G!!!!

***It is Sold with BILL OF SALE Only!  I can hold the motorcycle for you for a few weeks so you can arrange shipping if needed!  I cannot crate the motorcycle!  The Motorcycle is Sold: AS/IS - WHERE/IS!  A $500 deposit with PayPal is due at Auction End and the Balance can be paid with PayPal or Cash ONLY before the motorcycle leaves for shipping/delivery to winning bidder!

Thanks-A-Million for reading my post,
Robert (561) 662-0179

Kenny Roberts Motorcycle Collection Up For Sale

Wed, 25 Apr 2012

Motorcycling legend Kenny Roberts has commissioned RMD Motors to auction off some rare and exclusive motorcycles from his collection, presumably to make room for more. The Japan-based company is known the world over for its collection of rare and classic motorcycles for sale, many of which are retired grand prix machines fortunate enough to escape the fate of most decommissioned racebikes: the crusher.  Headlining the Roberts collection is the 2004 Proton KRV5 originally ridden by Kurtis Roberts, King Kenny’s youngest son. The five-cylinder grand prix machine never achieved much success on the world stage, but will easily make you the center of attention at your local trackday.

Rossi's Silverstone message to his fans

Mon, 21 Jun 2010

Valentino Rossi might not have been at the British MotoGP, but he did leave this message by his Yamaha YZR-M1 in the Fiat Yamah pits. The message, 'Torno Subito' means I'll come back quickly. Let's hope he does.
