UP FOR BID IS MY 1974 YAMAHA RD 350  TORQUE INDUCTION 6 SPEED MOTORCYLE. I HAVE OWN THIS BIKE SINCE NEW AND HAVE THE ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE. CYCLE HAS NOT BEEN LICENSE FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS AND ITS BEEN SITTING IN STORAGE AND NOW IT IS TIME TO GO. IT PROBABLY COULD USE A TUNE-UP, CHAIN AND SPROCKET AND TIRES. THERE ARE SOME FLAWS, DENT IN FRONT FENDER, SMALL DING IN GAS TANK, MISSING REFLECTOR ON BACK, AND VERY MINOR SURFACE RUST ON FRAME. I HAVE HAD IT RUNNING AND DROVE IT AROUND THE YARD. A GREAT BIKE TO RESTORE OR DRIVE. IT USE TO GET ABOUT 38 MPG AND 105 MPH. NOT TO THRILLED TO SELL BUT HOSPITAL BILLS NEED TO BE PAID. ITEM IS SOLD AS IS. Casey Stoner to Retire After 2012 MotoGP Season

Two-time MotoGP World Champion Casey Stoner has announced he will retire following the end of the 2012 season. Rumors of Stoner’s impending retirement plans have been floating around for weeks with the 26-year-old Repsol Honda racer saying he will continue racing until he no longer enjoyed it. That seems to be the case now as the 2007 and 2011 MotoGP Champion announced he will retire at a press conference ahead of this weekend’s French Grand Prix at Le Mans.

MotoGP Axes Claiming Rule and Adjusts Moto2 Engine Swap Fees

The International Motorcycling Federation‘s Grand Prix Commission officially annulled MotoGP‘s Claiming Rule. Effective immediately, teams using the official spec Magneti Marelli ECU hardware and software are exempt from having their engines claimed. Starting in the 2014 season however, the claiming rule will be cancelled completely.
