     Bought this from a father of the guy who owned it.  Kid moved to Co.  from Cal. didn't want to take the bike.  Now where to keep it.  Looks like it is in really good cond. other than a small piece of metal missing from the right side case.  Doesn't seem to affect anything so I didn't tough it.  If it sits in the same spot for a while the bike will show a drop or two of oil under it.  this is a nice bike for the money.  Price has no reserve.  Bill of Sale only.  Previous owner had the bike for over 15 years.

    For sale is a 1981 Yamaha XJ650H Maxim.  It has 8967 original miles on it.  This bike is not flawless, but is in good shape.  It runs well and is ready to ride.  There is some surface rust on the exhaust and on some of the welds on the frame.  The tank fell of a work bench and has just been repaired and painted.  The bike was just inspected and has a new front tire.  Also, the front break caliper was just rebuilt and new brake pads installed.     I am selling my 1971 Yamaha  RT1 360 MX  .I had the pair the Enduro and Mx but thining the herd I sold the Enduro and now I am selling the MX .I bought it a couple years ago from a retired friend , he ran it just to keep things working  then I put it in my dry garage drained the gasoline and have not used it since other then  rolling it around now and then and shifting the gears dry and do a a few dry kickstarts . I used the Enduro and the MX was too rare to valuable  for me  to run around in the dirt and dust in my area  for that I have another horse .It is matching numbers . It was run on Gas/Oil mixture but the the 2 cycle oil tank and pump are all there just not hooked up .I also had new tires put on it when I bought it  and they are still unused  other than rolling it in and out of the garage .The original seat has a little tear on the  left side  One of the pictures shows the inside of the tank .The front brake is a bit soft it might need new pads at some point .I will assist with Transportation  Uship always works well for me - can possibly have it delivered within a few hundred miles -delivery fee to be agreed upon ahead of delivery .

    For auction a 1979 Yamaha RD400F-Dayton Special, 400cc two stroke twin, the first and only year the Daytona Special was produced for the U.S.,“The King of the two strokes.”  I bought the bike 21 years ago. It is box stock with a few exceptions: Expansion chambers by a previous owner; the kick stand was extended to fit under the pipes; the seat has been reupholstered (and is much more comfortable than the original); the horn needs a new switch: Engine: The bike was thoroughly serviced in September (New plugs, points and condenser; carbs and oil pump sync’ed, carbs cleaned,) and it starts first kick.  It pulls and revs hard on the power band and that beautiful two stroke purr when idling.  It dyno’ed at 48 HP (Stock is 40HP) .  The battery was replaced two years ago.  The engine has not been ported or polished.  No mods what so ever, save the chambers. Body: The bike is in excellent original condition and the paint looks terrific.

The Japanese did not have enough unusual Niken bikes so they patented the design of a new 3-wheeler scooter. The device will probably be called the Tricity 300 and will presumably be powered by a 292cc engine from the 28hp XMax 300 maxi-scooter. We're looking forward to the debut of the production version at the end of the year at EICMA.

Yankees in police uniforms are tired of riding on cruisers - a patrol version of the Yamaha FJR1300 tourer, which is sold in the New World market, was specially developed for them.

In 2018, the Japanese brand will introduce an advanced version of the MT-09 bike. An interesting novelty will be out this year. Yamaha's top naked MT-10, formidable and comfortable, has an SP version with adjustable Öhlins electronic suspension, TFT gauges and special coloring.

The next-generation 689cc touring enduro is almost ready. The bike, magnificent in its conciseness and Dakar functionality, is a kind of preview of the future SUV that will replace the XT660Z Tenere. The rival of the BMW F800 GS/F 800 GS Adventure and the promising KTM 790 Adventure borrowed the 689cc inline-two from the Yamaha MT-07 and XSR700 (on these bikes it develops 74.8 hp and 68 Nm).

The motorcycle used the YZ450F motocross engine layout with the cylinder turned back and the intake and exhaust turned 180 degrees. The engine is housed in a new aluminum frame based on the aforementioned YZ450F.
