I have put 5500 mis on it this summer with no problems. Handles great, fun bar hopper that gets a ton of attention!!Now It's an old bike that's dependable and could use A few things to make it ready for the next season such as carbs need recalibrating and valves need adjusted for peak performance and a set of tires by the end of this season. 46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012

An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.

CARB Documents Reveal Two Yamaha FJ-09 Models

The California Air Resources Board today released executive orders on two Yamaha models: the FJ09FCGY and FJ09FCR. Both to be based on the current FZ-09 engine and chassis (MT-09 in Europe). In March of this year, MO’s resident sleuth, Dennis Chung, revealed Yamaha filed a trademark application for the FJ09 name.
