Yamaha Other description

Extremely rare Factory 100cc 2-stroke Yamaha BWS100 imported from Mexico. I am the original owner. It has 5950 km (3700 mis). This is in exceptional condition as the pics illustrate. These are almost impossible to come by. Much more torque, throatier sound than the U.S. 50cc version with a top speed of approximately 65mph. The Mexico V.I.N. # throws up a red flag at DMV as a non-U.S. vehicle so I purchased a parted out 2003 U.S. 50 and titled this 1 as that to get it registered and plated instead of spending months of jumping through hoops and red tape to do it their way (much easier). I have been renewing plates and having it inspected every year since. Skip the huge bug eye headlamps and low performance of the US version and get this 1 that is FAST and RELIABLE bone stock! Call or text (Austin # but I live in Houston) or simply reply to this ad if interested. Thank you for looking at my ad!

Unfortunately it looks like the Street Tracker will be a special edition variant only available in Europe, though many of the parts may be available in Yamaha’s part catalog.

John Reynolds: Riding Masterclass

Fri, 17 Dec 2010

When I first started racing about a thousand years ago, my local stomping ground was a place called Three Sisters near Wigan.  It wasn’t glamorous but it was brilliant. An hour from home and with about a million corners crammed into just a km of tarmac. The Three Sisters was a reference to the three coal slag heaps that had once occupied the site before.

New Rossi AGVs: Investments for the future

Tue, 26 Oct 2010

Valentino Rossi is edging towards the twilight of his career and anything that has been attached to the biggest star to come out of MotoGP is destined to be worthy of a collector’s treasure trove. Whenever Rossi has raced at a track that has some kind of importance to the Italian his AGV often gets coated with a one-off Aldo Drudi special, this year has seen the Wake Up! and Faces designs.
