Yamaha Other description

Selling my 2004 Yamaha Yz450F that needs a top end replacement, or potentially just a new cylinder. the bottom end of the motor only has about 50hrs on it and the piston about 30hrs, but the cylinder has never been replaced. Selling bike as is rolling on anodized blue excel rims, with a Boyesen water pump and cover, as well as matching clutch covers. It also has a 1 off head pipe and an FMF Q2 pipe. The bike ran and handled great with lots of power and with a new top end or potentially just a cylinder it would run like a top. I am a motivated seller asking 1,000obo looking to sell asap, contact me via text or call at

The short but sweet life of the Yamaha R7

Tue, 17 Jan 2012

I was reunited with an old friend recently, my 1999 Virgin Yamaha R7 Superbike. By the end of 1998 I had won three straight BSB titles with the Yamaha YZF750, when main sponsor Cadbury’s pulled out leaving zero funds for a title defence. Wanting desperately to ride the new R7 and thinking a replacement backer would instantly get on board I turned down quite a few offers including a juicy contract from Crescent Suzuki (Paul Denning always enjoys reminding me).
