Yamaha Other description

I am selling my TTR125 that I adapted a 1997 YZ80s racing suspension to. The front is completely bolt on and the rear took some custom fabrication. Bike is solid as a rock and handles amazing. Rear spring is for a 200lb rider. Im only 175 and it feels about perfect. However it would also make a perfect bike for a kid wanting to step up their game but doesn't want to deal with a finiky two stroke 80 or 85, but also doesn't want the high maintenance and price of a 150r. This little TTR is probably the most fun to ride bike I have ever owned. I just don't have the time or space for it anymore. I never raced it or abused it. I just rode it on the little track I built on our property. I really hate to sell it because its such a blast to ride and the fact that I built it makes it that much harder. I only rode the bike for one season. The back tire was brand new when I built it so you can see how little it has been ridden. Besides the BBR pipe and Uni pod air filter the bike is all stock. Carburetor is jetted damn near perfectly.

The bads:
I never made a new battery mount so the e start doesn't work but the key still works as some type security
The spokes on the back wheel could be replaced. They are in the exact same shape they were in when they came of the YZ so it wasn't from me beating on it, they're just old.
As with most TTR125s the choke is seized so I usually just spray a shot of starter fluid on the filter if I'm trying to start it when its real cold. Other than that the bike starts flawlessly.

Glen Richards back with Embassy Racing

Wed, 27 Oct 2010

One of the unsung heroes of the BSB paddock over the past few seasons, has to be 2010 Superstock 1000 runner up Glen Richards. A nasty tumble in at the Brands Hatch opener lead to four DNFs, but once back on track he pushed the dominant BMWs hard, finishing on the podium eight times. While many were trading their grannies to fund new S1000RRs, Richards kept the faith and rode the wheels off his Padgett’s Honda Fireblade.
