Yamaha Other description

I am selling my 2003 Yamaha R6 with 20,xxx miles for $3300 or best offer! , For those who don't know this is the 1st year of the fuel-injected R6. I purchased this bike three seasons ago completely stock and have absolutely loved it. Mechanically it is in terrific condition and is real quick with the upgrades, no shift problems, good brakes, rotors and decent pads I've added about $1000 of performance and cosmetic extras over the last 2yrs also. Oil changed with Lucas Oil Pro. Full Synthetic and K&N Oil Filters. For those who know about the coil pack recall, yes this bike was brought into Tousley motorsports in White Bear Lake and had all the coil packs replaced with new ones in place of the recalled packs. The bike has a little rash on the left side but really is not that bad (images) otherwise it looks great, come take a look for yourself. The reason I am selling is to get a Harley. If anyone has a Harley that would want to talk about trades that would be a possibility also. I do not need to sell this and almost don't want to, day-to-day my thoughts change so I'm throwing it out there to see what my options are. Feel free to call/text or email if you have any questions or want to come take a look,, no low ballers. Test rides with cash in hand (we all know how it works).Extras:1) 1 yr on New Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S20 Tires $2502) Vortex 15/50 Sprocket Conversion $1703) Vortex 520 Chain Conversion4) Speedo DRD $805) Boz Brothers Slip On Race Core Muffler $1506) Phillips CrystalVision Ultra Xenon Bulbs (Not H.I.Ds) $507) Black Chrome Pegs and Levers $808) R6 Race Grips $209) Flush Mount L.E.D Tail Light $10010) Flush Mount Smoked Front signals $6011) Frame Sliders $80

Donington Park and the Roman rebel.

Thu, 31 Mar 2011

We know the sun always shines on the righteous and that’s exactly what happened last weekend at Donington Park. Yes its good honest people back in charge of the Derbyshire circuit so we saw summer sunshine for Friday’s free practice and also for WSB race two on Sunday. The circuit is better than ever with a new Esses section in place, and while the paddock remains unchanged, work has already started that will see gradual revamp over the year ahead.

Pikes Peak 87th Annual International Hill Climb [pics and video]

Fri, 15 May 2009

Named after a man by the name of Zebulon Pike, an explorer who led an expedition to the area in 1806, Pikes Peak is home to the second oldest motorsports race in America second only to the Indianapolis 500. First completed in 1916, this year marks the 87th running of the “Race to the Clouds.” If the math doesn’t add up, this is because there were several years that the event did not run over the course of its 93 year history. The 12.4 mile trek up the mountain consists of 156 treacherous turns to an elevation of 14,110 feet.
