2001 Yamaha Roadstar , I am selling a custom 2001 Yamaha Roadstar with 18k miles. The motorcycle has many custom parts, but some notable are a corbin seat set, K&N Filter, and removable 21 Inch Memphis Shades Windshield. The bike is in outstanding condition (other than very minor scratches on the left side of the tank - please note in the picture) and has only been ridden in the rain twice. I am only selling the motorcycle because I moved to England in September of 2012 to study for PhD and will most likely not be returning to the US. Authenticated by Yamaha Motors UK, this unique 181-mile machine has been signed by the multiple world champ and is being sold by Oldham-based Highbarn Motorcycles. Any takers?
Stoner to Miss Brno for Surgery – Title Defence Likely Over
Thu, 23 Aug 2012Casey Stoner has withdrawn from the Brno, Czech Republic MotoGP round to undergo surgery on his injured ankle. Trailing Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo by 39 points and Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa by 21 points with seven rounds to go, Stoner’s hopes of repeating as MotoGP champion before retiring at the end of the season are all but dashed. The Repsol Honda rider injured his ankle in a high side crash in last weekend’s Indianapolis Grand Prix.
3J’s Charity Track Day Raises $30k
Fri, 02 May 2014Since 2003, 3J’s Motorcycle Track Days have generated nearly $450,000 for charity. This year, the event’s 20th annual, 3J’s raised more than $30,000 for Speedway Children’s Charities. Nearly 120 riders converged on Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California for a day of riding around the 12-turn, 2.28-mile road course.
