1990 YAMAHA TW200 with 3386 original miles. I purchased this bike as a fixer upper and spare bike. This bike sat for 5 years and did not run when I got it. I took this bike to a shop to have it worked on and had the following work done to it:
Bike is in good condition and runs great. Has cosmetic scratches but nothing major. To my knowledge nothing is missing or damaged.Small tear on strap on seat and horn sound is low. Please feel free to ask any questions before you bid. Please make arrangements for pick up within 7 days. Thank you. |

A good bike in either genre agrees that you need to be able to pound out miles and do it in relative comfort.
Rumor: Yamaha Developing Inline Three Roadster
Wed, 25 Jan 2012French motorcycle outlet Moto Revue reports Yamaha is developing a new three-cylinder middleweight. Citing an internal Yamaha document, Moto Revue reports the new naked model will feature an inline Triple engine, aluminum perimeter frame, upside-down fork and a triple-pipe exhaust like the MV Agusta F3 and Brutale 675. Yamaha has produced a Triple before, offering the XS750 from 1976-1979 before replacing it with the XS850 in 1980 and 1981 (pictured above is the 1981 Yamaha XS850.) The potential new model is still likely to be years away, so its look is yet to be determined, though Moto Revue does have a rendering that borrows some of the design elements from the FZ8.

Mon, 24 Feb 2014The 2014 World Supersport season opened in dramatic fashion after a red-flagged restart turned the 18-lap race into a five-lap sprint, with MV Agusta making a triumphant return to the top of the podium for the first time since 1976. The Supersport event began with a hard-fought battle between three-time champion Kenan Sofuoglu, Kev Coghlan and Michael van der Mark. Sofuoglu and his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R held a slim lead over Coghlan’s Yamaha R6 and van der Mark’s Honda CBR600RR when the race was halted after CIA Insurance Honda rider Jack Kennedy suffered an engine problem and leaked oil onto the track.
