BUY YOURSELF AN XMAS PRESENT THAT YOU REALLY WANT!

These are crazy hard to come by and I really don't want to sell it but I have been sitting on it for a few years and have too many things going on in my life to get to it.

I ran it when I bought it but only for a short while....the tank was shot and it took me forever to find a NEW one with a slight blemish....so glad it was out there.  The old tank was a leaker and was damaged by someone trying to fix it and they didn't know they were doing.

From what I have learned there are only a about 1000 or so imported and they started at serial 100.  This is number 112 so a truly rare find.  They are very cool with a single cylinder 600 cc bike....loads of torque and great handling.

I am selling at no reserve and have stated the bidding at $1500.00.

If you want to take a bike to a retro rally on sit on something really unusual and not just another HONDA CB CAFE....this is it.   My dream was to tear it all down and rebuild it but someone else will need to make it happen.

Lastly the seat is not stock but I think it is way better....it looks fantastic on the bike and was really well made on the stock pan.

I have a box with some extra parts including a very cool supertrap muffler for the bike.

Open title and ready to go.

I live in TN but travel to Cincinnati frequently (every few weeks)  and would be glad to save you miles if you want to pick up there....during the week at my place of work.  I only ask for payment in full before I load it up.  Otherwise pay when you get here.

Glad to work with your shipper as long as you handle all the details.

NON refundable deposit of $300 at the close of the auction .....not 24 or 48 hours later but at the close of the auction....I just like dealing with sincere buyers and don't play games.

MotoGP to Re-Visit Rookie Rule

Tue, 19 Jun 2012

MotoGP organizers are re-opening discussion for the series’ rookie rule which prevents new riders from entering the series with factory teams. Introduced following the 2009 MotoGP season, the rule was designed to give satellite teams the chance to field young up-and-coming talents  they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to sign. The theory was the rule would protect the satellite teams and spread out the talent pool.

New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 – Motorcycle Manufacturers Draw Battle Lines for World’s Second Largest Market

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.
