Yamaha Other description

Very Nice bike built myself. Runs and drives well, fast! Everything works as it should. The only negatives: the gas tank fell off my work bench and got dented in three places (I have another set of replacement decals to go with the bike), the paint on the oil tank is bubbled on top (not very noticeable), and the rear tang on the engine case broke off when the CS let go on me. I fixed the CS but the tang is still off (I have it if you want to have it rewelded, many racers actually cut them off for fast chain changes)

Now to the goodies.

EICMA 2011 Preview: 2012 Yamaha TMax – Scooterus Maximus [Video]

Tue, 18 Oct 2011

The 2011 EICMA show in Milan is just a few weeks away and from what we’ve seen from the manufacturers so far, it looks like the prevailing theme this year is the maxi-scooter. Honda will present its 700cc dual clutch transmission Integra scooter at EICMA, BMW announced it will unveil two new maxi-scooters in Milan, and Aprilia is rebadging an 850cc V-Twin Gilera scooter as the SRV 850. And now Yamaha is jumping into the fray with an update to its popular TMax.

Just for a moment; leading the British GP

Tue, 12 Jun 2012

Cal Crutchlow’s early exit at his home Moto GP last year meant we didn’t get to see his awesome potential at Silverstone. His two WSB race wins there in 2010 were pretty special as he dominated on the factory Yamaha R1, not least as he used some alternative lines and every inch of the track along the way. With his form matching the world's best in every event this year, on paper, this weekend should be his best chance so far to secure a podium or maybe even (making the dream come true!) take the first major class win in three decades.
