Yamaha RD400C, 1976, adult owned and professionally maintained, 14,903 miles, garage kept, has not been tagged in many years. For the past 4 years, it has only been ridden in my neighborhood. Totally stock except for pipes, seat and kickstand. This bike comes with the original Yamaha Owner's Manual, two Yamaha service manuals, original kickstand, original chrome exhaust and Yamaha tool kit. The bike has a small amount of surface rust which can be easily removed with fine sandpaper. The tank has a tiny paint chip that can be seen when the bike is in direct sunlight. The chrome fenders have minor pitting. Please see pictures. Cranks first or second kick, when properly choked. Please ask questions prior to bidding. This bike is going up in value, fast. Fri, 17 Jan 2014Yamaha’s official MotoGP outfit unveiled the team’s official 2014 livery in front of a packed audience in Jakarta, Indonesia. The team’s two factory riders, Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi, were on hand to proudly showcase their YZF-M1 motorcycles. As expected, blue, Yamaha’s factory color, plays a major role in the color scheme, but unlike last year where it was the dominant color, it is equally offset by contrasting white swaths on the upper fairing, fuel tank, and throughout the lower fairing.
Yamaha Tops Second Day of Sepang Test as Honda Twiddles Thumbs
Wed, 29 Feb 2012Ben Spies topped the time sheets ahead of teammate Jorge Lorenzo as Yamaha continued its MotoGP pre-season testing in Malaysia. While their rivals at Honda were idled by an engine problem, the two factory Yamaha riders found improvement on their Day One times and gathered data about riding in both wet and dry conditions. Spies set the best lap time at 2:01.285 while testing different chassis settings in the morning.
